Add Video to your PowerPoint Presentations |

When I was a corporate drone, my threshold for boredom was challenged almost daily. I felt like a judge in a Ben Stein impersonation contest (Bueller…Bueller?) listening to suits listlessly read the size 8 font squeezed on to their PowerPoint slides. Those days, I hope, are over. Current technology allows us to easily spice up our PowerPoint with audio and video.
To add a video that is saved on your computer, open Microsoft PowerPoint and then open your presentation. To insert video onto the desired slide, go to Insert, select Movies and Sounds, and then Movie from File (see picture below) and locate the video that is stored on your computer. Please note that the video is not embedded only linked. This means the video must be on the same computer that you will be using to run the presentation.
